HEAR MY VOICE !!
IT'S "PUT UP" OR "SHUT UP" TIME ON VOTER REGISTRATION, VOTER EDUCATION AND TURNOUT FOR THE UPCOMING MARCH ELECTIONS!!!
Voter Registration, Education and TURNOUT is KEY for March Primary!!
THIS JUST IN -- CRAINS
just did a feature story today on The States Attorneys Race with the
OBSERVATION that while the Black community and its leaders have been
doing major PR events against Alvarez that it has YET to translate into
any kind of major voter registration drive for the March election so our
need for coming together lifting up voter registration is KEY, for its
clear now from The CRAINS article that the Black community is being
watched now for the SUBSTANCE of the work that has to follow all the PR
events with regard to the March elections!! AND its the REAL reason that
that Alvarez has stated repeatedly that she wont resign and will take
her chances at the polls, especially if SHE TOO is seeing that the Black
communities voter registration ACTIONS are not backing up all the hype
of the Marches etc against her! or others facing voters on election
day!! And there is the major race for Clerk
Of The Circuit Court were you have Incumbent Dorothy Brown and whether
she can survive the upcoming election that has her trying to survive
against the challenge of 8th Ward Alderman Michelle Harris and another
Clerk candidate in March!!
The CRAINS article is KEY that the major media is WATCHING if the Black community is just TALKING LOUD and SAYING NOTHING
HEAR MY VOICE !! IT'S "VOTER REGISTRATION ASSIGNMENT & REPORTING TIME.
Everybody can be
calling the local high school in their area and ones that they have
relationships with that you would like to schedule Deputy Registrars at
their school on FRIDAY JANUARY 15th as a High School Voter Registration
Day in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King's Birthday AND in recognition of
The Legislature Passing and the Governor signing the new law the
re-institutes CIVICS in the Public Schools. And what better way for
eligible students to become educated in civics than to become a
registered voter. LETS GET TO WORK!! We especially want to engage our
student leaders across the city to show that the 18-35 age group will
not be the lowest in voter registration and voter turnout in March
elections."
